I’ll be gone back in a minute. I need to move. Some might theorize that if it wasn’t for the dog, I’d be in a train right now, but yeah… I live in the part of China where it’s been raining and extra-humid (fog) for a month and a half, and I only realized a few days ago that the heat wave hasn’t ended yet in the Southern part of the country. I’ll take the rain and current 12°C tbh.
I’d rather not theorize too much about things, though. I already did an oopsy not long ago (I was criticizing the building while walking past it, and ranting out loud about the resonance/noise that happened during its construction, and someone who might actually be the designer or at least part of their crew turned around, looking at me a bit surprised. The person looked like he was happily admiring his work. I’m not sure, but I had looked information online to check the estimated end of the construction work, and in the article, there were pictures of the 2 main people in charge of the project. The guy looked a lot like one of them.)
I do not know what exactly causes the resonance now and am in no way accusing this building, I know it happened before I moved here (There were already cracks in the paint similar to the ones that appeared last year around the time I’ve posted the video about resonance. Those cracks were painted over by the landlord before I moved here. It’s easy to guess what caused it back then. The landlord didn’t seem surprised at all by me talking about resonance. It was quiet and normal for 2 years, though. There’s way more context and clues, but we drove around with the Ay to find what could cause this now and we found nothing. I saw that several places are already reserved for future residences to be built, though. Not sure if it will make the resonance come back again or just worsen the never-ending one, but I don’t want to find out.
For the sake of clarity : since a few days ago, we get both the noise like in the video (hence why I added it again, it’s from last year) AND a deep hum (see first part of the video). But it feels it’s the same noise source. I also hear inside the resonance distinct sound of something heavy dropping (on the floor?) or hitting something from time to time at night. Last year, I could hear inside the resonance an excavator and trucks. It was super distinct. But now it’s just mainly a continuous noise (hum and crystal-like noise) both daytime (faint) and at night (moderate compared to last year, but let me remind you that last year was extreme to the point of causing cracks in the paint on the wall).
Anyway. I need time to find a good place with no resonance. Or another city without chemical / plastic plants but that has job opportunities for the Ay, Idk. Maybe not just yet. Either way, I’m out of here.
So yeah…
