So… It’s been brought to my attention that by “blocking” (redirecting, really) American IPs from viewing my blog, I blocked Google bots with it. Which is weird, since I’ve checked their stuff before hand and I would have sworn they said their bot’s IPs are not included in the American IPs ranges. Obviously, that’s not accurate.
Everybody is telling me to stop being so stubborn and that it’s not stopping “whoever” is using us for propaganda anyway.
I’m really not willing to talk about it. I don’t want to talk about politics, I don’t even talk about the French elections at all. This is so stupid, being included in stuff just because of where you live or….as a matter of fact here, yeah…. I get we’re the perfect tool to be spinned and used for propaganda in their eyes, just another puppet to be used. That would be great if they could just stop including us in this. Just so many people they could use, pick them instead, thanks. Sorry to say, but from afar, it’s so very obvious. And yet, I think I’m not realising much of what is going on at all.
That’s all I’m going to say about that. I can only speak for myself, but that’s not what we’re here for. We’re just here to entertain.
