I’ve posted a few videos on my Tiktok page : https://tiktok.com/@realmelinaj . The videos are also watchable on computers and you don’t need an account. Random videos will be uploaded from times to times.

I’ve already replaced the debian package of the Cymellia Calculator with the corrected one. It was just a matter of name of the software in the title bar, nothing else has been changed. You can download it from the Cymellia website : http://cymellia.me/blog .

I might make the novels “Just a game” and “A bottle in the ocean” available on e-book platforms (such as Amazon) in the near future, if possible. Since it will be available on e-book platforms, I will remove the novels from my blog. I’ll let you finish reading or re-reading. I’ll remove them in 3 weeks. Let’s say October 12th.

I’m going to start the process of improving the grammar very soon. It takes a lot of time. The story will remain the same, but I’m trying to improve the grammar. For example, I am not really happy about the wording in the last chapter of “Just a game”, I struggled to put it into words the way I wanted, and I still think it could be described better.

If I don’t post anything for a while, it would be because I’m busy doing things. ^_^

A quick post to let everybody know that I have a new Dailymotion channel : https://www.dailymotion.com/melina_j . This channel was made for archiving purpose, to post my travel videos and tutorials, so that they’re embeddable. Music teasers will be posted on there too. There shouldn’t be exclusive new videos on there.

I also have a Tiktok account now : http://tiktok.com/@realmelinaj , where random videos will be posted from times to times. These videos might not be posted on here. The main reason is I don’t think I can set the video player to vertical here ? (That’s actually something I want to look into, but I don’t have time right now.)

Please note that videos will probably be posted on these platforms on my behalf by someone else. That’s why the comments are disabled.

I probably won’t make videos in the near future, I’m a bit late on my schedule for the novel right now. Speaking of which, the novel “A bottle in the ocean” should have a total of 56 chapters.  I’m still rewriting the chapters as I was not happy with the way I originally wrote them.

Just letting everybody know that there won’t be 53 chapters for “A bottle in the ocean” as previously announced. I’m not sure yet how many chapters there will be in the final version. I’m still rewriting the end. The storyline won’t change much. As I said before, I wasn’t happy with how the end was written. I’ve added 3 chapters and removed some repeating ones. There might be around 55 chapters. I will only know how many chapters there are when I’m done rewriting. I’ll let you know in advance, if possible.

There shouldn’t be any break. New chapters should be posted on Saturdays as usual.

I’m done tweaking the theme. I still need to tweak the theme of the Cymellia (trademark) website and update a few things. My blog might still be offline at some point, if I stumble on things that need to be tweaked.

There’s a dark mode now. (You can enable it by clicking on the rectangle with “dark mode : off/on” written in it at the bottom right of the screen. (It should also be available on the mobile theme.)

I’m going to tweak things on both my blog and the Cymellia (trademark) website. I’m going to redo the themes. It means my blog (and the Cymellia website) will be offline either intermittently or for a while until I’m done.

I’m having “a few” technical issues right now. You might have noticed that both my blog and the Cymellia (the trademark) website were offline for a short while earlier. That’s because I attempted to fix something.

I supposedly know how to fix the issue I’m having, but I would need to fix something else before. It seems I need to change of theme (which I made myself a long time ago). My main issue is that I don’t remember how to do things and where the stuff is located (I haven’t done anything in CSS nor PHP for years). I might just use a ready made theme first and either fork it (if it’s an official theme made by wordpress) or just keep using it, we’ll see.

I’m not sure when I’m going to do so, I suddenly have an incredibly long list of “to do things”. Anyway, it means my blog and the Cymellia websites will be offline at some point.

Cymellia music is going to be removed from all platforms. Most of it should already be removed by today (American time) or tomorrow. The rest is going to be removed in a matter of days. We’re going to remove “Ich werde dich nie vergessen” last, as it seems it is still actively streamed, so that people who might not read my blog can get the hint, to give them a chance to download it (legally) before it’s removed.

At this point of time, I have no idea how long the music will be unavailable. It might be months (unlikely) or years (more probable).

Please note that the music remains copyrighted. Cymellia artists (myself included) own the music. No matter what, it remains copyrighted and proprietary. The music should not be uploaded (for free or for a fee), it should not be sampled by other artists or labels, it should not be used in any way. Teasers that were uploaded can still be used for fan art and for tutorials, as long as it’s not for commercial purpose. However, we do not recommend to post those videos on Youtube… The full songs cannot be used in any way.

I have recorded a video, which I haven’t finished editing yet. It should be up soon.

I’ve managed to log into my Twitter account and managed to delete it. The deactivation will be complete in 30 days. I have no intention to cancel this deactivation.

I don’t know if someone with bad intentions will use this username for bad purpose, I’m definitely not going to keep this account “or else”. I do not want to have an account on Twitter anymore, I do not agree to their TOU.

I do not seek for my picture or mention of my name to be removed from their platform as long as there is no impersonation or illegal intent involved (i.e fan accounts do not need to worry).

…even if it’s not easy sometimes…

So… I’m going to remove Paypal as a payment method from the Cymellia websites. This time it’s going to be permanent and definitive, as now they refuse to let me log into the account at all, because it “fails to recognize it’s me”, and they also don’t send codes by sms or email or anything, because why live in the 2020’s when you can just pretend it’s still the 1990’s, right ? They used to allow me to log in “manually” (the staffer doing something). Now they don’t anymore.

I’m going to just stop here as I have nothing nice to say. They will probably keep the money in it (not a lot, but you know, it’s not theirs). To be honest, I made sure all the important stuff we’re using don’t require Paypal. Because I don’t trust them. There’s another payment method available in our online shop and I can add another one if needed.

Paypal costumer service have a way to make you angry also, the way they talk down on you and cut you all the time, but then become mean if you interrupt their never ending nonsense and empty sentences. Like for real, I only tried to log in because I’ve read they’d be taking fees in “inactive accounts” (which the Paypal staffer denied, though, maybe it doesn’t apply to Hong Kong). There was no hurry, nothing really. Just a random log in to check. I still ended the call so upset and basically talking loudly, but only because she would just interrupt me mid-sentence all the time, and was also annoyed by what they told me.

I do not like their “alternative method” which consists in using the Paypal account of a Chinese person who’s not even related to the company nor in Hong Kong instead of the account of the company. I don’t think it’s legal, really. I might be wrong, though. I’m clearly not going to do that. (I can’t own a personal Paypal account, because they require address proof that only Chinese people have and do not accept the ones foreigners have. Also, I refuse to use anything but a business account.)

I wonder if they’re making people upset on purpose. I don’t think they’d leak stuff, but so that you know, yes, I talked about suing, about rumours online which I consider to be detrimental for me and Cymellia, and stuff, how it’s their actions therefore their consequences and to leave me out of anything, I want nothing to do with any Paypal related stuff at all ever.

I’ve recorded the call this time again, but won’t upload it online, though.

Supposedly they’re going to call me back tomorrow. I don’t even want to talk to them at this point. I’d rather be making chocolates also, which is what I planned to do tomorrow. I have lots of stuff to do tomorrow. I mean, I’d rather be cleaning the floor with a toothbrush than talk to them… I’d like to get my money back though. I’m not in a hurry, and it’s more a matter of principle than anything, as I don’t trust them and made sure to basically not need to use Paypal (which was basically only for the online shops).

Right, I’m going to stop here for real. I definitely have nothing nice to say about them at all.
